WEDHA A. R. [IDN]
Abdul Rasyid, better known as Wedha, is an illustrator born on March 10, 1950, in Cirebon, West Java. He is well known for the iconic visualization of Lupus, a fictional character that became a teenage icon in the late '80s. He also developed a unique art style called Foto Marak Berkotak, blending cubism and pop art with bold colors. This style became a hallmark of HAI and eventually evolved into its own genre, known as Wedha’s Pop-Art Portrait (WPAP).
MASANORI USHIKI [JPN]
Born in Japan, in 1981. BA in Arts from Musashino Art University, 2004. He built a career at a stationery design studio, web development company, gaming app developer, before becoming independent in 2011. At present, he's based in Kyoto, working as an illustrator centered around original characters. He always tries to incorporate ideas such as “humor”, “fashion” and “a better future” in his works.
MOJOKO [SGP]
MOJOKO is a Pop art mash-up artist whose works explore cultural clashes and the energy of Southeast Asia. He uses psychedelic colors and precise linework to create mind-bending landscapes. As EYEYAH! Magazine's creative director, he aims to inspire future artists.
SUNDAE KIDS [THA]
Sundae Kids is a duo of Thai artists, Kavin Thienvutichai and Pratchaya Mahapauraya, now based in New York. They are known for comic strips featuring simple lines and wholesome stories about relationships and everyday moments. Their work spans illustrations, comics, graphic novels, animations, and recently, paintings.
YAMEPI© [JPN]
YAMEPI© is an artist whose bold lines, pastel colors, and cartoonish style hyperbolize Tokyo street culture through punk, hip hop, streetwear, and skate iconography. He is actively expanding the scope of his activities, including building his own clothing label, JAM®, being part of the creative crew COMET©, and working as a model.
ADDY DEBIL [IDN]
Bandung-based Addy Debil (b.1993) is widely known as a street artist, where his signature characters can often be seen in the doodles and murals he made on the city walls. With his uniquely approachable visual style, he fluidly navigates through various art scenes, while constantly pursuing the exploration of mediums.
EI XUE HAN [SGP]
Xue Han is an independent Singaporean illustrator and storyteller based in Sydney. Through her journey into the realms of art, social work, and faith, she seeks to use illustrations and storytelling to guide others into the rhythm of human experiences—healing, becoming, and creating.
KATHRIN HONESTA [IDN]
Kathrin Honesta is an Indonesian illustrator who has created numerous works for book covers published by Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Usborne Books, Google, and Disney. She is part of 'Shadows Stories,' a collaborative project with writer Kay and she co-founded 'Trinket By Kath,' a lifestyle brand.
KONG ANDRI [IDN]
Kong Andri is an artist from Indonesia known for his artwork and customized designer toy figures. His style is inspired by his childhood memories and Japanese culture and now produces his own character universe called Owange Team.
MACHINE56 [IDN]
Machine56 is an Indonesian brand founded by Rajaya Yogaswara in 2002 and known for its global reach, including the U.S., Japan, Russia, Canada, and Africa. The brand's style combines Japanese cyberpunk graphics, bold typography, and urban futurist street culture.
MONEZ [IDN]
Monez is a Bali-based illustrator known for his distinct style, often featuring unique monster characters and bold use of vibrant colors inspired by Balinese culture. He has collaborated with renowned brands such as Google, Sony, Adidas, Procreate, Affinity, and more. He has also gained recognition for his ability to incorporate traditional elements into modern artwork, making him a prominent figure in both local and international art scenes.
MUKLAY [IDN]
Muklay's dynamic pop-art style expresses personal reflections, using pop cultural signifiers to convey his deepest thoughts and experiences. His works capture the vitality of modern youth culture and the anxieties of navigating a fast-paced world.
NADYA NOOR [IDN]
Nadya Noor, a graphic designer and freelance illustrator from Jakarta, creates decorative artwork with vibrant colors, strong lines, and patterns—always with a touch of pink. Influenced by Indian rugs and Middle Eastern ceramics, she advocates for gender equality through her art.
NAIME PAKNIYAT [IRN]
Naime began merging pixel art with traditional regional painting in 2016. In 2022, she created her first short animated film, *Gambit,* inspired by 13th and 14th-century Persian miniatures. The film pays homage to 8-bit art, evoking nostalgia. By blending pixel art with ancient traditions, she aims to preserve cultural heritage.
SARKODIT [IDN]
Sarkodit is a freelance illustrator who was born and currently resides in Bandung. He loves creating surreal, multi-layered illustrations where figurative forms unravel into dreamlike scenarios, often playing with colors and deformed shapes.
TUTU [IDN]
TUTU, an Indonesian artist, began as a conventional animator and freelance illustrator before moving into street art in 2000. He's participated in numerous events, exhibitions, and art fairs, including a solo exhibition titled *Future Wisdom* in 2023. For JICAF 2024, he will launch TUTU BSide, a fun project featuring a portfolio piece called Easy Joe.
VARSAM KURNIA [IDN]
Varsam Kurnia is an illustrator based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He paints the quiet and the fantastical, portraying a magical world that has its roots in mythology, JRPGs and everyday human stories. He is also the maker of the brand somethingstokeep.
YKHA AMELZ [IDN]
Ykha Amelz is an Indonesian artist specializing in 2D illustration. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and publications such as Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, L'Officiel, Cosmopolitan, and NYLON. She often doodles her pet, Babbot, which has led to collaborations with major brands like Lacoste, Coach, Netflix, and Samsung. Since 2019, she has also served as a brand ambassador for Vans in art.
